The Rule 12 Golf Tour
Alan's 2025 Trip Recap:
This year, our group of 20 intrepid golfers carded a total of 7642 strokes for the trip, We had an average of 95.5 gross, 79.1 net with course handicaps. We had no eagles,48 birdries (led by Jake @ 11, Duh) and 33 9's. This is the first time since I've kept track that we had more birdies than 9's. Jake, Matt, Tom McLaine, John Adams, Harold, Paul and Rich all completed 4 rounds without a 9.
Hole #7 @ Watson on Thursday was our easiest hole, playing at an average of 0.55 strokes over par. #18 @ Watson on Thursday and #9 on Palmer Friday tied for the hardest, playing at 2.05 strokes over par. Gabe Gonzales was the winner of my newly created Best Scrambler Award with the highest gross score / fairways hit ratio. Sorry Gabe, no $ this year, but maybe next.
